Dreaming of Streaming

DOS is a design and production studio established by the contemporary art gallery ANDOR. The studio develops alternative forms of publishing, working alongside resident artists and designers in the production and delivery of its programme content.

An experiment in alternative studio formats and processes of production in contemporary art, the studio commissions and distributes artworks and texts through different methods, utilising a variety of audience-generated and event-based timescales.

The programme launches with a series of commissioned texts and artworks. The first of these, 'BadWords' is a collaboration between Harry Burke and Deanna Havas. Online for two weeks before being available to download as a limited edition PDF designed by the studio. Further texts will appear by Holly White and Hannah Black, and Paul Kneale; before DOS launches limited editioned artworks by Michael Pybus. Throughout 2015 DOS will work alongside ANDOR in publishing articles and texts with artists and writers, whilst developing campaigns and programmes through dreamingofstreaming.com to promote and distribute contemporary art.

DOS has been established by researcher and curator George Unsworth in collaboration with designers Harry Bloom and Kia Tasbihgou, documentation artist Tom Carter, and campaign managers Camille Johnston and Alexandra Bootherstone.
